As with most epics, there is usually one battlefield that serves as a focal point for the age-old struggle between good and evil. In the case of EA Mythic‘s Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR), it’s the Blighted Isle located in the ruins of the once proud kingdom of Ulthuan.

Official WAR lore has it that the Blighted Isle is a strategic location for the elven civil war that’s currently raging in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Understandable, considering that the Isle serves as home to the Altar of Khaine, atop which rests the dark god of war’s cursed sword, Widowmaker. The sword is of immense importance to both High Elves and Dark Elves – whoever wields will attain the power to change the course of history once again.
