EA revs up Need for Speed ProStreet for every platform imaginable
Electronic Arts must have sensed the fans’ renewed “need for speed” and that’s why it just announced Need for Speed ProStreet, the latest addition to the successful racing franchise. The new video game title will be available Fall 2007 for PS3, 360, Wii, PC, PS2, PSP, and DS. A mobile version is also in the works.
Among ProStreet‘s new features and improved graphics, EA would like to highlight the game’s Autosculpt technology that allows players to directly impact their car’s performance for the first time as well as personalize its appearance. EA Executive Producer Larry LaPierre commented,
Need for Speed ProStreet accelerates street racing culture by providing the ultimate stage for the pursuit of street racing supremacy. This is a game about building the ultimate performance-tuned battle machine, taking it to multi-disciplinary showdowns all over the world and pitting your skills and reputation against the very best street racers.
What we have below are the first ever screenshots and trailer video for the title. We usually have some reservations about a game being released on multi-platform but we have to say that we’ll be keeping an eye on this one.
