Said Kane,

It’s exciting to be on the cover of my favorite videogame after playing just my second year as a professional. When you look back at some of the great players who have had this opportunity, it’s an honor to be a part of the EA Sports family and contribute to a game I’ve been playing for more than ten years.

Only two years in the pros and you’re already on the box of a video game. Not bad, I say. Not bad at all. If you are in doubt as to his qualifications, Kane only happens to be the 2008 Rookie of the Year, earning for himself the Calder Trophy as he led the BlackHawks to the Western Conference Finals. On his first two seasons alone, he has already scored more than 20 goals, and registered more than 70 points in each one.

NHL 10 is coming to the PS3 and the Xbox 360 for North American retail on September this year.
