EA still mum on Rock Band for Wii
Electronic Arts has practically built a reputation for churning out multiplatform titles for almost every currently available video game console over the years. With the release of the PS2 version of Rock Band (PS2, PS3, Xbox 360), Wii owners are once again asking: Will the game get a Wii version? More at the full article.
It seems Electronic Arts is still giving Wii owners the runaround when asked about a possible appearance of Rock Band (PS2, PS3, Xbox 360) on Nintendo’s next gen home video game console.
According to GamePro, EA’s Bryce Baer said in an email that EA “[has] not announced any plans for a Wii version at this time.” A PlayStation 2 version of the game has already come out, though, so a Wii version is not that farfetched.
Plus hey, this is EA. Bringing games to almost every available system has practically been a trademark of theirs over the years. Case in point: Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos said last year that EA will, “at some time, bring Rock Band to every [important] platform.”
More updates as soon as we get them.
