Early HD DVD flicks to be 1080p
According to DVDActive the first HD DVDs that will come on to the market on April 18th will be in 1080p format for use with the newly released HD DVD player by Toshiba. Several box scans were posted on the internet showcasing some of the titles for HD DVD. It’s good news for anyone who can’t wait to get there hands on some of the movies such as Jarhead and Last Samurai in all their High Definition glory. Now we will just have to wait until they make the external HD DVD add on for the 360 so we can have a cheap HD DVD player to be released.
