EA’s Fight Night Round 4 trailer was right – Pacquiao knocked Hatton out
With the IBO Light-Welterweight title fight coming to a spectacular close, Manny “The Pacman” Pacquiao emerges with another shiny new belt to add to his collection. It looks like EA Sports called the outcome right, with their Fight Night Round 4 (Xbox 360, PS3) trailer showing a Manny Pacquiao victory by way of knockout.

The trailer wasn’t 100% accurate of course. The match didn’t last 11 rounds, and the Philippine pride didn’t hit the canvas. That’s understandable though, would’ve been a bad idea at the time for EA Sports to make a lopsided trailer. After all, few people expected the Hitman, known for his steel jaw among other things, to go down that soon.
Although the trailer was by no means a “prediction” on EA’s part, they still went for a Pacquiao victory at the end, and as it turns out, they were right. Your thoughts?
