EEDAR: 13 percent of Xbox 360 games have review score of 85 or higher

The Electronic Entertainment Design and Research (EEDAR), in team-up with EDGE, has studied how much of the Xbox 360 games can be considered “quality games”, in terms of review scores. Findings after the jump.

The Electronic Entertainment Design and Research (EEDAR), in team-up with EDGE, has studied how much of the Xbox 360 games can be considered “quality games”, in terms of review scores.

According to their findings, from the years 2005 through 2008, of all the games that launched for Microsoft‘s console, only 13% scored 85 or higher in reviews. Meanwhile, 38% got a grade 65 or lower.

If we are to interpret these numbers then, it would appear that while there is a plethora of Xbox 360 titles out there, there are only a few that really do stand out. Then again, I’d say this scenario is not necessarily mutually-exclusive to this console.
