Effects pedal for Guitar Hero II confirmed in 360 instructions booklet

The lucky people over at Joystiq have finally gotten their hands on Guitar Hero II for the Xbox 360, and after a quick perusal of the X-plorer controller’s instruction manual, have confirmed something that’s sure to make fans of the Guitar Hero franchise ready their credit cards.

According to Joystiq, separately sold effects pedals will be available for the sequel to RedOctane and Harmonix‘s hit series. The diagram shows that the pedal will be connected to the guitar controller via a port at the base (near the whammy bar), but aside from that, there’s no additional info about it just yet.

Since it’s already April 1st, the natural reaction would be to call April Fools shenanigans on this report. Joystiq’s also uploaded a few images of the instruction manual in order to counter that reaction. Check ’em out below.
