Eidos launches official Battlestations: Midway website
Eidos has finally launched the new official website for their upcoming action title Battlestations: Midway. The website will act as a central resource hub for the upcoming game, complete with up-to-date news and information.
Through the website, players will be kept informed of new developments regarding the game. The website also houses a chronology of the actual historical battles featured in the game and detailed information on the war machines found in-game, with key tactical information.
Downloadable interactive content will also be available, as well as a dedicated forum for the Battlestations: Midway community and a nifty little section where players can check out new 360 degree screenshots of the in-game action.
“For the first time, Battlestations: Midway will enable players to directly control dozens of highly detailed warships, aircraft and submarines in a ‘free-control’ environment,” said David Bamberger of Eidos. “The launch of Battlestations.net is a pivotal part of our ongoing campaign to update our broad fan base on key developments for Battlestations: Midway and its upcoming release.”
Battlestations: Midway will be making its way to the Xbox 360 and PC in early Q1 2007.
