Eidos Montreal working on game title that starts with the letter T

For those of us keeping up with the latest news regarding Eidos Interactive, here’s a very special update: it seems that the Montreal branch of the company is brewing something big, and it starts with the letter T. We wonder what could it be? Is it the next Tomb Raider? Maybe a next-gen Thief? All the details in th full article.

It seems that the Montreal branch of Eidos Interactive has a triple-A title hidden up their sleeves, and it starts with the letter ‘T’. Yes, the branch that is working on Deus Ex 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) is now also working on a title that could possibly, most probably, hopefully the next Tomb Raider. I mean, what other title affiliated with Eidos starts with the letter T? Thief? Timesplitters?

In any case, this news comes directly from their new website, where they put out the call for recruitment regarding a mysterious tytle in the works. Here’s the complete announcement, verbatim:

Eidos-Montréal is proud to announce the recruitment for our 2nd “AAA” project. A hint! The title begins with the letter ‘T’.

Not a very good hint, as far as hints go, but it certainly narrows it down. Here’s hoping that it’s either of the three titles – we could certainly use a next-gen Tomb Raider or Thief right about now. No news on just what platform, though, so we’ll file this to all platforms for now. Updates as we get them.
