Microsoft Game Studios is prepping up the epic fourth installment of its Kingdom Under Fire series and they’ve released eight new screenshots to give us a taste of what’s to come. Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom is touted to be a leap away from the action-RTS paradigm that its predecessors employed and now thrives moistly on RPG elements.
One thing that hasn’t changed is the quality of graphics that the franchise has been known for. As evidenced by these screens, the title is set to hit with highly detailed 3D animations that will provide eye candy to match with the heroic gameplay. The story revolves around the aftermath of the great war that took place, and you as the kingdom’s resident do-gooder will have the responsibility of maintaining order. Sounds boring? You’ll have the prerogative to whack the unsavory types if you ever get bored.
