Elebits – Multiplayer Revealed
As part of the Leipzig Games Convention this year, Konami displayed a new trailer for their Wii title – Elebits. This trailer showed how multiplayer would be played on this Wii title, and is surprisingly very similar to the single player aspect! Elebits takes the Wiimote to the extreme, utilizing it in almost all ways possible with on-screen controlling. The goal of the game is to move objects around, open and close objects and complete small objectives in order to find little creatures called Elebits.
This game already has me bought due to its simplicity and “hunting” feel to it – the Elebits do not always stay in the same place, they can easily move without you knowing! As you progress through the game you will experience the world slowly evolve as you find more of these little creatures, the energy source of the world.
Now, the multiplayer of this game is nothing near complicated or different from the single player gameplay. It looks to follow the exact same rule setting as the single player mode, just with a few more cursors/gravity beams on the screen. You now must navigate through the areas and find the most Elebits out of your opponents.
