Blizzard North co-founder wants to see Diablo 3 in full 3D
The Diablo series has always held a special place in Blizzard fans’ hearts. It seems even the people responsible for the Diablo games are just as excited to see a new Diablo sequel.
One such person is Max Schaefer, co-founder of the now-defunct Blizzard North – the studio behind the Diablo games. In a recent interview with video game news site CVG, Schaefer, who now works at Flagship Studios, voiced his excitement about the possibility of a Diablo 3:
You know as much as I do about their plans, but what I’d like to see is Diablo in a true 3D environment, taking advantage of the latest graphics bells and whistles, and of course, the Blizzard production values that makes their games special.
With StarCraft 2 now in development, perhaps Diablo 3 isn’t too far off. What about you guys? What would you like to see in a new Diablo title? Leave a comment below and share your thoughts.
