Heavenly Sword demo slashes in on the 26th

Those of you waiting for some killer content on the PlayStation Network won’t need to wait too long for something big to drop. IGN reports that the Heavenly Sword demo by Ninja Theory will be available for download on July 26th.

This marks the first time that we can all get our hands on Nariko, the blade-wielding redhead heroine of the game. We’ve all seen how the game looks and it’s pretty darn impressive. Now it’s time to get a feel of the combat system by sampling it ourselves.

The demo should feature Nariko in the same backdrop shown in Game Day a few months ago. That probably means we can control the feisty lady on some high ropes and then beat on a few hapless enemies. We’ll keep you posted as more news arrives.
