Legends of Norrath tournament testing starts
It was recently announced that Sony will begin testing the tournament system for online trading card game (TCG) Legends of Norrath (which is based on MMO video games EverQuest and EverQuest II). So far, two separate tournaments have been scheduled – one on September 22 and another on the following day. Both will start at 12:00 noon PDT.
The format for the tournaments had been constructed with no entry fee. The prizes are pretty good, with the first place getting a loot card of his/her choice. The 2nd to 4th will get 3 boosters while the 5th to the 16th will be receiving one booster.
In addition to this, one out of every ten participants who complete the tourney will be given a Legends of Norrath booster pack as well. Considering that the game is free to play, you might want to give it a shot by signing up at the official Legends of Norrath website (Source link below).
If you feel confident enough, you can even join the tournament with the stock deck you’re initially given, although you might have a hard time competing against some of the more experienced players (who have better cards needless to say).
