Ubisoft has announced that PlayStation 3 exclusive Haze will become available sometime during the first quarter of 2008 instead of the original launch later this year in time for the holiday season.

Xbox 360 and PC game Tom Clancy‘s Splinter Cell Conviction, furthermore, is currently somewhat in limbo. It was also supposed to come out later this year but Ubisoft has reported that it “will now form part of a stronger line up for fiscal 2008-09.”

Prior to this, we also learned that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will be released in March, 2008 for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Details about the sequel is still scarce as of the moment but we can expect the same intensity that endeared the series to fans.

No reason was given for the delays but Ubisoft remains optimistic that these decisions are for the best interest of these games and their fans.
