Nintendo’s gaming future: downloading DS demos through the Wii

According to a liveblog post from Japanese gaming blog Gemaga, it seems Nintendo is planning on supporting the downloading of DS game demos through the Wii console.

We checked those trusty translation sites to be sure, but we do believe it does say that at the 14:10 mark of Gemaga’s liveblog. To reiterate, Nintendo plans to implement a system that’ll let people download DS game demos through the Wii in the future.

There’s currently no timetable for when this’ll happen, but it certainly is exciting. It’s a great way of implementing connectivity between the two of the most popular gaming platforms to date.
