While talking with ComputerAndVideoGames, Grasshopper’s Koichi “Suda 51” Suda mentioned a tiny tidbit about working with Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima. He also had a lot to say about the upcoming ultra-violent No More Heroes for the Wii. When it comes to his involvement with Kojima on Project S, Suda 51 had this to say: “Kojima is well known throughout the world as a Director and he receives high evaluation marks. I can’t compare me with him because his existence is both close to me and far from me.”

As for No More Heroes, Suda says that so far the game is 70 percent complete. Noteworthy details mentioned include a hint at how combat works in the game and his opinion about the chances of online play being included in No More Heroes.

Basically, attacks in combat could be done by pressing the A button. Shaking the Wiimote should then administer the finishing move. As for the online features, Suda notes that it’s still up in the air. Although he does note that he is personally very interested in online play, and that he’d like to undertake an online game once No More Heroes is complete.

As for that Mysterious Xbox 360 project that Suda is working on, all he has to say is that it is still confidential and that we’d have to wait a bit more to get more details.
