Tabula Rasa screenshot of the week: Feel the Power

It’s been a while since we’ve had a screenshot of the week update of Richard Garriott and NCsoft‘s Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa, and for old times’ sake, here’s one that definitely could use a witty caption or two. And as far as caption-able material go, this one is a piece of cake, if you’re one to watch cartoons every now and then.

There are screenshots, and then there are screenshots. This latest Screenshot of the Week from NCsoft‘s Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa – sent in by Tron of tr2187 – can definitely be placed in the latter, as it captures not only the stunning graphics of this legendary MMO, but also the mad glee of someone who’s found a really awesome light source. Or a weapon of mass destruction, but that’s pretty much the same banana.

Of course, the glowing orb of twisting firey death isn’t quite either of those things. Rather, it’s a physical manifestation of the energy being harnessed by the Bane at Maligo base. And while we certainly can giggle at Tron’s character for posing like someone from Dragon Ball Z about to fire an energy bomb of some sort, we know deep in our hearts that we probably would have done the exact same thing.
