Three Speech: PS3 European launch details coming this midnight
Even though many may still have some bones to pick with Three Speech concerning that little slip that they had last year, you have to admit that they do (so far) deliver accurate news about the company and product that they are known to be tied with.
However, their latest announcement may cause a bit of a stir if no follow-through happens. In their latest post, dated January 24, 2007 and bearing the timestamp 2:47 pm, they are spreading the word that “at midnight … weÂ’ll be running all available info on the launch details of the PS3 in the UK/Europe.” However, they did fail to note just which timezone they’re talking about, so “midnight” can be a bit later or earlier than our usual bedtimes.
Anyway, what they’re promising is quite a lot to look forward to, and also quite a lot to be disappointed about if it turns out to be a no-show. Some commenters to their post have tried to wheedle out more information, but they were met with the response “News is embargoed until midnight. ThatÂ’s the earliest it can go out.” from the Three Speech team.
