Where are the weather effects in World of Warcraft?
Ever since patch 1.10, World of Warcraft players were able to enjoy weather changes in various areas which looked really awesome, and added yet another depth to the game. People have been asking why they aren’t getting weather effects in Outland as well.
As much as this isn’t by any means a game breaking thing, it is one of those features that further endears the game to long time players. Apparently, Blizzard feels the same way as Community Manager Nethaera gave word that the in-game weather has not been forgotten and will be added in the future. Here’s exactly what she said:
Definitely not forgotten. We do plan to add more in over time. When? Couldn’t tell you. Just remember it was awhile before we got weather effects into Azeroth. We’ll get there in other areas when we can. I too, enjoy the rain in the zones.
Hopefully, the additions happen sooner rather than later. What the QJ.NET WoW team has been looking forward to, if we may add, was having weather affect battlefield conditions in the game. Imagine having low visibility as you have to go up against elites. That would simply rock.
