So you fancy yourself as a game developer and dream of becoming the next John Carmack? Well, here’s an opportunity for you to prove it. The beta version of the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars software development kit (SDK) has been released for public use.
This contains all the tools used to develop the game, its source code, reference maps, original game scripts, definition files, as well as a selection of models and sample animations. Pretty much everything you need to develop a mod or map for the game.
The post regarding the SDK stated that this is still an unsupported release. This means that the Activision Customer Support will not be able to help with any problems that may occur with the application.
If you still plan on downloading the application to try it out (like any good modder would), you can find the complete list of sites carrying the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars SDK by clicking on our Via link.
