England gets XNA launch event on December 13

XNA - 'brew for your 'box!

And everyone thought that only Redmond would have gotten an XNA event? Think again. Across the Atlantic, the laddies up at Europe have no reason to fret now. They’re going to have their own event to usher in the XNA Game Studio Xpress.

The event will be held on December 13 at the Warwick Conference Center, University of Warwick, England. General Manager Chris Satchell of Microsoft Games Developer Group and Lionhead Studios Director Peter Molyneux are slated to give the a talk on introducing the XNA to the participants. Admission is free, and if you do decide to go, you’ll also be having an in-depth lecture on the XNA’s graphics platform care of Nick Burton from Rare. Other discussions and workshops will be scheduled throughout the day with an open forum Q&A to cap things off.

The event is going to be open to academics, researchers, and undergraduates, and in case you don’t fall into these categories, we’re sure to have some coverage of the event (whether this one or the one at Redmond) for all you guys. After all, we’re at the dawn of 360 homebrew, and everyone’d sure like some info to start exploring XNA.
