ErrorF v2 – now in English, with USB support
ErrorF aims to give meaning to those long strings of error codes for your Sony PlayStation Portable. However, homebrew developers Said0011 and Coco1230 released it in French a few months ago making it inconvenient for some. ErrorF version 2 solves that with English support, among other new features. More details after the jump.

With the previous build of the homebrew application ErrorF, developers Said0011 and Coco1230 aimed to bridge the gap between you and those error codes on your Sony PlayStation Portable. You know, those long strings of numbers and letters. ErrorF lets us know the meaning of them.
However, some members of the community, including noted dev zx-81, found ErrorF inconvenient because it can only be read in French. Today’s build, ErrorF version 2, solves that issue by adding English support.
Not only that, ErrorF version 2 also adds USB support and troubleshooting for some of the error codes it defines. However it is important to note that all “fault codes” have no solution. Here’s a list of the features of ErrorF version 2:
- All errors are registered with their meaning
- The choice of language (English or french)
- Solution for a few error messages.
- Research Module
- Viewing code errors
- Compatible Slim & Lite
- USB Mode
Take note that there is no readme included with the homebrew file. Though the release was accompanied by a changelog, check it out below:
- “Solution” added under Search
- Note: All fault codes have no solution.
- “News” and “Thanks” added under About …
- “Language” (com or english) added under Options
- Code optimized
