ESRB rates Ecco: Tides of Time, Milon’s Secret Castle for VC
And in other news, it appears that SEGA‘s dolphin, Ecco, will be gracing the Nintendo Wii through Virtual Console. Together with Milon’s Secret Castle from Hudson Entertainment, Inc., Ecco: Tides of Time has been rated “E” by the ESRB, signaling that the two games may be arriving soon to your Wii Shop Channel.
And who doesn’t know Ecco? Players may recall Tides of Time as the underwater side-swimmer that had players ship off to the distant future and maneuvering Ecco through Skyways. Although the game was just as hard as the first title in the series, people who did master the controls may have been able to piece back the Asterite again and set things right with the Vortex Queen.
Milon‘s Secret Castle (rated “E” by the ESRB) upgraded the frustration in platformers a bit, though. This nostalgic puzzler may have been remembered as one of the most difficult games to accomplish, with tough bosses, lame hints, and a fronting storyline that could have been conceptualized better. The GameBoy version ultimately dropped the ante somewhat later on, however, after the NES version, with a slight boss tweak for better aesthetics.
