ESRB rates Xbox 360 titles Yie Ar Kung-Fu and mysterious Aegis Wing
The official website of the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has just been updated with two new video game titles for the Xbox 360. It has been proven on many previous occasions that the ESRB’s list of games is pretty accurate, so it’s rather a pleasant surprise to find the said titles on that list.
Anyway, the first game is Yie Ar Kung-Fu, and is not unknown to most of you, as it has been announced for a Japanese Xbox Live release last October of 2006. Konami‘s has been rated the game E10+ due to cartoon violence. Yie Ar Kung-Fu is an arcade fighting game which was first released first back in 1985. It features main character Oolong, who fights various martial arts masters.
The next video game title, called Aegis Wing, eludes us. Aside from the ESRB rating of E for mild fantasy violence, and its publisher being Microsoft, we don’t know anything else about it, and there also seems to be no pre-order for this title. Because of this, we’re guessing that this is a retro game that didn’t exactly fly off the shelves when it was first released, and is therefore being released via XBLA. So, if any of you recognize this title, any info that you guys can provide will be highly appreciated.
Both Konami and Microsoft are yet to confirm these titles or comment about them. In the meantime, we’re waiting for developments, and we promise to update you as soon as we get hold of them.
