Both games have a pretty strong following from the gaming community and have spawned multiple sequels on a number of platforms.

You’ll be getting a nice double treat from Nintendo on your Wii’s Virtual Console this week in the form of Bubble Bobble and The King of Fighters ’94. Both games have a pretty strong following from the gaming community and have spawned multiple sequels on a number of platforms.
Taito‘s Bubble Bobble has two bubble dragons named Bub (Green) and Bob (Blue) on a quest to save their girlfriends who are somewhere within the cave of monsters. This game will be available on the Virtual Console for 500 Wii points.
SNK‘s The King of Fighters ’94 is the grand daddy of the KOF series. This fighting game introduced a three-character team system where a player has to knock out two opponents before winning a match. Fighting game fans who plan on downloading this game should know that it will cost 900 Wii Points.
The exact release day of both games haven’t been announced yet, so you might want to keep checking the Wii’s Virtual Console to see if it’s out.
