Europeans can register online accounts on November 9?
We spy with our wee little eyes an interesting bit of info. Play France has revealed (if we understand the Google Translate correctly) that Europeans would be able to register their profiles on November 9th. This will allow gamers to create online accounts despite not having an actual PS3 unit to use that account.
Sony just wants the Europeans to have the chance to reserve a profile tag/nickname/ID instead of waiting until after the Japanese and Americans have taken all the good ones.
Well, fair is fair.
However, we were thinking: what if a person does register an account and then, within a few weeks, they changed their mind about getting a PS3 unit? What if people hoard certain IDs (and try selling them in the future, hehe). We need details to make us top worrying!
In any case, there’s no official word yet from Sony if this November 9 registry is confirmed, so we’ll keep you posted once we hear more news on this.
