Europe’s Orange Box (PlayStation 3) launching this December
Electronic Arts has just confirmed that they’re planning to launch The Orange Box game compendium (Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life Episode Two, Team Fortress 2, and Portal) from Valve Corporation by next month in Europe. At least for the PS3.
There’s only a few more weeks left before December, so we’re sure you guys want to know the exact release date. You can find it over in the full article, along with a few additional details.
It looks like Europe‘s PlayStation 3 owners will be getting their cake before the year’s out. Electronic Arts, the UK distributor for The Orange Box, has just sent word that they will be releasing the pack into retail by December 14 – just two days after the U.S.’ copy launches.
This announcement dispels previous rumors that Europe’s PS3 port was going to be delayed to 2008. As a recap Valve Corporation‘s Orange Box game collection (Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life Episode Two, Team Fortress 2, and Portal) launched for the Xbox 360 and PC last October 10 in the U.S.
Europe and the UK’s launch followed on October 18 and 19, respectively. Keep alert in case related updates are released.
