Europe’s Wii VC selection this week: Punch Out!!, The Legend of the Mystical Ninja and Dragon’s Curse
Three more retro video games are headed for the European Virtual Console this week, bringing the Wii’s European VC’s total title count up to 69.
The first one up is Punch Out!! for 500 Wii points. Please note that this title’s different from Mike Tyson’s Punch Out. In Punch Out!!, players take on the role of a rookie trying to make it in the boxing world by working his way through the ranks and embarking on numerous matches. Each fight brings you closer and closer to the world champion title.
Also up for grabs is the SNES action adventure title The Legend of the Mystical Ninja for 800 Wii Points. Players must complete tasks and battle enemies in order to save our heroine and finish the quest. If you feel like you need a helping hand, there’s also a two-player mode so you can let a friend join in on the fun.
Finally, we have Dragon’s Curse for 600 Wii points. Originally released for the TurboGrafx, Dragon’s Curse follows a warrior who, after an unfortunate run-in with a dragon, becomes Lizard-Man. The object of the game is to retrieve the Salamander Cross, and become human once more.
