EVE Online: Fifth Alliance Tournament preparations now underway

Coming off the success of last year’s PvP Alliance Tournament, CCP Games is already winding up for this year’s annual space jockey face off open to all players on the futuristic Sci-Fi MMO game EVE Online. For more details on the upcoming tournament, check out the full article after the jump.

CCP Games is currently putting all pilots on red alert status as they get set to organize this year’s PvP Alliance Tournament for the futuristic Sci-Fi MMO game EVE Online.

With the success of last year’s Alliance Tournament, the developers and GMs are looking forward to the new PvP tournament which will feature all the new updates from the Trinity expansion.

The Fifth Alliance Tournament will be held over the first two weekends of March 2008, with the first matches played out this February 29. The matches will be organized by the tournament committee, to be headed by GM Nova and comprised of GM Xamother, CCP Fendahl, and CCP Mindstar.

Just as last year, the tournament will be streamed live and for free with coverage from some of the top names in the EVE Online PvP community, who will be giving out commentaries and analysis for the different matches.
