EVE Online receives core engine upgrades

CCP Games announced today that better things are heading to EVE Online in terms of overall performance efficiency. The MMO video game has reportedly been upgraded to high-level programming language Stackless Python 2.5.

Its internal build system likewise has been upgraded to Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. In a nutshell, these changes will provide additional support to the game’s current programming infrastructure as well as simplify the programming language to be more effective.
