Even MORE Guitar Hero II bonus tracks

Riffed and ready.

And just when you thought you already knew everything about it, new details about Guitar Hero II suddenly surface.

Okay, maybe not all that sudden, but there’s new info released. In any case, the latest press release which RedOctane has given out stated that the Xbox 360 version of GH2 can be expected by this March and that it will contain more than 70 tracks, including 10 tracks that will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 version. Among these exclusive tracks which are unlockable in career mode include:

  • “Billion Dollar Babies” by Alice Cooper
  • “Dead!” by My Chemical Romance
  • “Hush” by Deep Purple
  • “Life Wasted” by Pearl Jam
  • “Rock ‘n’ Roll Hoochie Koo” by Rick Derringer
  • “Possum Kingdom” by Toadies
  • “Salvation” by Rancid
  • “The Trooper” by Iron Maiden.

The other two tracks are still unknown, though many are crossing their fingers for a Hendrix song. It has also been noted that “Dead!” and “Possum Kingdom” are “master tracks”, or songs that are actually original recordings and not just the normal covers.

Besides these new tracks, Xbox 360 players will also be able to enjoy the usual fare of Achievement points, dashboard themes, picture packs, and downloadable songs.
