EverQuest 2 game update 29 preview

EverQuest 2New nobility titles, higher guild level cap, new tradeskills – all these and more await EverQuest II players in Game Update 29. The update, which will drop simultaneously with the new Echoes of Faydwer expansion pack, is jam-packed with enough new content to make it just as exciting as Echoes of Faydwer itself.

Now, we’ve already posted quite a few bits of info on what players can expect in the new expansion, so we’re going to focus on Game Update 29 this time. As most of you guys know, Echoes of Faydwer won’t raise the level cap for players, but as we mentioned earlier, guild level cap will be increased by the update.

What this means is that all guilds can now reach up to level 60 and gain access to new nobility titles and other guild rewards. This is true for all guilds, too. No need to worry if your guildmates have purchased Echoes of Faydwer or not.

Another new feature that comes in the update is a new way to secure commission work from crafters. According to the update preview on the EQ2 community website, the new commission screen works like a trade panel – you present your ingredients, the crafter presents his recipes and skills (and possibly other ingredients), and both of you get to see what is going on at each step of the way so thereÂ’s no confusion.

Of course, a preview won’t reveal all the tricks that are up the devs’ sleeves now, would it? What we’ve mentioned is just the tip of the iceberg, and Game Update 29 has a lot of other exciting new changes and content that’ll definitely knock your socks off once you see ’em.
