EverQuest II Announces New Expansions

Just in time for E3 2006, the developers of EverQuest II  has announced its two latest expansions: Fallen Dynasty and Echoes of Faydwer. The Fallen Dynasty should appeal to those with an interest in all things Eastern, featuring new zones with Asian themes. New weapons, quests and skill rewards also reflect Asian cultural influences. Experienced players will have seven new adventure zones in which they will be able to explore new villages and a new dungeon. Rumor has it that there will be a “forsaken city.”

The FD expansion is meant only for veteran players who have achieved level 55-70, but have no fear neophytes: Echoes of Faydwer is designed for players of all levels. Echoes has twenty new zones, forty new creatures, 350 new quests and features a new race called the “Fae” – so there should be plenty there to keep less experienced players happy for a long time.
