Excite Truck To Support A Maximum Of Only Two Players?

If the official Nintendo Wii website is anything to go by, then yes, Excite Truck will only be supporting a maximum of two players. A shame really, as having multiplayer capped at two-players is a stark difference to the many promos Wii have had circulating, showing lounge rooms all over the country full of people having a great time with the console. The official page for Excite Truck simply shows two girls playing and it said, “Players: 1-2”, so I guess that is a give-away.

The game features players rocketing across the terrain with their nitrous-injected, high-flying racer trucks and will also showcase the Wiimote controller’s versatility through players being able to tilt the controller on its side to turn it into a wireless steering wheel.

All in all, the news isn’t great as it basically rules out online play, and really…what is the most fun you can have with only two people? Excite Truck is due to hit shelves with the launch of Wii on November 19.
