External NES controller for the PSP with video

PSP Modder Edhel recently contacted us to tell us about his new mod for the PSP. Retro gamers will be pleased by his work since it connects an NES controller to the handheld to play NES emulated games (with programs like the unofficial NesterJ application) on the unit.

PSP Modder Edhel recently contacted us to tell us about his new mod for the PSP. Retro gamers will be pleased by his work since it connects an NES controller to the handheld to play NES emulated games (with programs like the unofficial NesterJ application) on the unit.

Instead of using the standard direction button on the controller, Edhel decided to fit it with a joystick. The modder gave word that he can navigate through the PSP menus normally with the joystick since he wired that to the PSP’s d-pad and replaced the ENS controller’s d-pad with the joystick.
