Extreme home make-over: PSP & Wii controlled households

The PSP and the WACI NXLiquidICE used to have a nice setup in his home where he was able to control everything wirelessly using his PSP. Using a controller device called the WACI NX he was able to turn on the TV, turn on the XBOX, switch to the correct input to the TV and send the PLAY command to the XBMC all in one button press. He was able to turn lights on and off. Have full control (Play, Stop, Pause, Menu) of my DVD player, TIVO, and High Def TV, all wirelessly from his PSP.

The thing is, LiquidICE’s tinkering didn’t stop with the PSP. Using a Smart-home Insteon Lights w/ ControlLinc, Aurora Multimedia WACI NX, Debian Linux PC running LAMP services, AXIS PTZ IP Security Camera, and a Proliphix IP Thermostat along with his own custom written PHP script and his own Flash GUI, he was able to wire rig his house to be controlled by his Wii.
