EZ4 Lite Contest Announcement
The guys over at the EZ-Flash USA Forum has recently announced various contests that will yield great goodies. The competition will be categorized into four fields – Homebrew Gaming, Homebrew Application, Skinning, and Writing. Unfortunately, if you’re planning on joining on the ‘Writing’ showdown you’re too late, it’s already closed; but the other three are still open. So anyways, the prizes: EZ4Lite, a NEO MK4-minis and a MicroSD card. So for you to be all set, here are some of the rules:
Overall Rules:
– The competitions are open to ezflash.sosuke.com forum members only
– Entrants may enter each competition
– Entrants cannot win more than one competition
– A maximum of two entries are allowed for each competition, except for the writing competition, where only one entry will be accepted
– The judges decision is final & no correspondence will be entered into
Competition No1: Homebrew Gaming
– This game must run on the EZ4
– It must be homebrew and your own work
– Existing games cannot be entered unless significantly updated (Change log will be required)
– Ports of existing games are allowed
– Source code does not need to be provided, but will be favourable in judging
– Competition will close Saturday 19th August 0GMT
Competition No2: Homebrew Application
– This application can be PC based. It must support the EZ4 in some manner
– The application can be NDS based
– It must be homebrew and your own work
– Existing applications cannot be entered unless significantly updated (Change log will be required)
– Source code does not need to be provided, but will be favourable in judging.
– Competition will close Saturday 19th August 0GMT
Competition No3: Skinning
– The skin must be your own work
– You must be able to show your working / history
– Image captures and public images cannot be used
– Photographic images are not allowed (unless used as a basis for derivative works)
– It must compile with the current loader and work without glitches.
– No Pornography
– No obscene images
– The Skinning Competition will close Saturday 5th August 0GMT
