Factor 5 President: Our game is not dead. It’s “indestructible”

Superman - Image 1Despite getting a heaping dose of Kyptonite from publisher Brash Entertainment, developer Factor 5‘s “large scale multi-platform project” still refuses to die. Is it *gasp* indestructible?

Superman - Image 1As mentioned in a previous article, publisher Brash Entertainment had dropped their unannounced Superman title. Naturally, this led to much speculation as to the health of both the game and the developer, Factor 5.

Addressing the rumors, Factor 5’s President Julian Eggebrecht had this to say:

One of our large-scale multi-platform projects was started with Brash because it is a dream property for us, hasn’t been given its dues in gaming since the Atari 2600, and has a huge universe to draw from. It also is a long-term project because we were not wiling to compromise quality at all from the start and make this into what we as fans, and hopefully every fan of the property – movies old or new, comic-book, or TV – wants to play.

With that said, things are obviously in flux and we hope that the game proves to be as indestructible as our hero…

I know he didn’t really mention “Superman” anywhere in there since it’s still supposed to be “unannounced” but he was about as subtle as a baseball bat. Good luck, Factor 5. Hope things turn out okay for you and Mister Kent’s latest incarnation.
