Family Ski now supports Wii Balance Board - Image 1Namco has just released a couple of new details regarding their upcoming Family Ski game for the Nintendo Wii console. And from the looks of it, aside from using the standard Wiimote-Nunchuck configuration we’ve already come to expect, the game will also support the Wii Balance Board.

It looks like the company had a change of heart, given they previously stated it would not be supporting the new peripheral. We imagine this will come as great news for those hoping to include this title in their workout regimen – it’ll make a good complement to Wii Fit.

It also appears that Family Ski is dated for January 31 next year, at an expected retail price of 5,500 (US$ 50). Unfortunately, there is still no word on a North America release. Japan‘s Wii Fit is scheduled for release next month, at an expected retail price of 8,800 (US$ 75).
