Famitsu – GTA 4 scores nearly perfect, LittleBigPlanet comes in a close second
Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu recently gave out scores on today’s hottest titles. Four reviewers would score a game on a scale to 10, with 10 being the highest. With a near-perfect score, it looks like Niko Bellic and the gangboys of Grand Theft Auto 4 (PS3, Xbox 360) bested the LittleBigSackboys in LittleBigPlanet – even by just a tiny margin. Full scores and details in the full article.
Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu recently gave out scores on today’s hottest titles. Four reviewers would score a game on a scale to 10, with 10 being the highest. With a score of 10, 10, 9, 10, Grand Theft Auto 4 (PS3, Xbox 360) tops the charts, slightly edging LittleBigPlanet, which scored 10, 10, 9, 9.
Here’s how the other games fared:
- Cid and Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: Maze of Time DS – 8, 8, 8, 8
- Vitamin Y – 6, 6, 6, 7
- Precure 5 – 7, 6, 6, 5
- Aralechan – 4, 5, 4, 4
- Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One – 8, 8, 8, 8
- Avalon Code – 7, 8, 7, 8
- Boku to Simu no Machi – 7, 8, 7, 7
- Bokujou Monogatari – 7, 8, 7, 7
- Fracture (Xbox 360, PS3) 7, 8, 7, 6
- Thunderforce 6 – 7, 7, 6, 6
It’s quite remarkable that no game on that list even scored a 9. It seems that GTA4 and LittleBigPlanet stand out as today’s hottest titles – at least for Japan. Maybe we can see more of LittleBigPlanet as soon as the recall controversy dies down, but hats off to GTA for another great title.
