This week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu has revealed some new games for the Sony PlayStation Portable, one of them being a remake of Game Arts and Studio Alex’s Sega-CD RPG Lunar: The Silver Star.
It seems that the Lunar remake — called Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star — will also incorporate features added in the earlier Sega Saturn and PSOne remake, Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. Gungho Works is handling development. Both the original Lunar and the Saturn/PSOne remake saw release in North America, so I have high hopes for this one as well.
The issue also has stuff on a mystery adventure novel called Okamikakushi and a new iteration in Konami’s Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball Portable series. While I have like zero interest in the latter, the former is quite promising since it has Higurashi main man Ryukishi07 as director. Okamikakushi was apparently officially announced last month, but this is the first I’ve heard of it.
The same issue also has a feature on Queen’s Blade: Spiral Chaos, which I am totally going to import because of, um… because of the SRPG gameplay. Yeah. Let’s go with that.
