Famitsu reveals more screenshots of a galaxy hopping Mario
Mario has his hands full in his latest adventure that will take him all the way into the far reaches of space. Famitsu has revealed a ton of screenshots of everyone’s favorite red and blue mustachioed plumber as he goes through the many worlds of Super Mario Galaxy.
When a certain princess gets kidnapped (again), it’s up to Mario to save her. He’ll get to travel through up to 6 galaxies, each one comprising of different planets with their own unique dynamics.
In addition, Mario gets to try on some new transformation suits to help him along in his journey. As seen in the images, he can now don the guise of Boo, the friendly ghost (although, the image of a round little ghost with a moustache is both a little amusing and disturbing at the same time).
As with the other 3D platformers Mario has been in, he’ll be collecting a number of stars in the course of his quest (up to 120 here in this game).
What other surprises Super Mario Galaxy has in store for everyone will have to wait until the game is released in the United States this November 12. In the meantime, here’s a lot of eye candy to tide gamers over until the game is out.
