Famitsu: Sony may cut PS3 prices soon
According to popular Japanese game magazine Famitsu, Sony may soon “slash the price” of its high-end game machine, the PlayStation 3. Along with that, some changes in the supply quantity of the console may happen.
The PlayStation 3 has enjoyed good sales so far around the world, but still trails its rivals Microsoft Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii in sales due mainly to the high price point it carries. A bundled PS3 can sell for as much as US$ 900 inclusive of taxes, limiting the crowd with the purchase power to buy it.
Japan is a wonderful country with warm and ingenious people and a fascinating culture. The Nippon language is absolutely great, and it would be great if we English-speakers could all learn it.
