Famitsu whips out screens for the remake of Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete
I’ve seen a lot of remakes, but a lot of them just look like mere ports that I could enjoy on an emulator anyway. But for Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete, the fresh new look and the graphics upgrade really does justice to the epic JRPG. Famitsu whipped out a bunch of screens for the remake, and you can check ’em out right here.

As you can see, instead of the old overhead camera, we now have an isometric angle for the dungeon crawling. The battles also get great new touchups, even Ramus is now worth looking at. Plus with all the spamming that Mia and Nash are gonna do, the new spell graphics are much, much welcome. This one’s heading to the PSP, but there’s nothing on dates and if this one gets a US release.
