Fanart Department : Wii, Why Not?
Probably tired of waiting for Nintendo’s ad blitz (if there is such a forthcoming ad campaign), one Spanish Wii fan decided to do something about it. He created his own. The Wii Why Not ad does stop the eyes dead in their tracks with its almost monochromatic look and just a hint of color that simulate a smile.
It’s not the first faux ad fanart, though. A few days ago one official Wii promo turned to be another well-crafted fanart. And even before that, scans of supposedly Wii ads found in a German magazine surfaced. With all the unofficial Wii ads coming out we wouldn’t be surprised if Nintendo decides not to put out its own.
