Fandango Partners With Ericsson

As of now the third major wireless carrier Ericsson will host Fandango’s best-of-breed mobile entertainment application. The application was developed by Crisp Wireless and is available at mobile.fandango.com.

The service enables moviegoers to purchase tickets in seconds, check film reviews, movie information, showtimes and maps.

You can also received mobile alerts when tickets go on sale for upcoming movies. All you have to do is enter your ZIP code to “FNDGO” (36346) and you will receive nearby theaters, availability and showtimes.

Fandango CEO Art Levitt says“Consumers can quickly, easily and discreetly browse film reviews, check theater showtimes and purchase a ticket, whether it’s during a dinner date, convention or even a long meeting,”

 

The service will be free with the exception of the usual premium the Fandango and Ericsson will share for the purchase of each ticket.
