Far Cry 2 teaser video

Get ready to be teased as Ubisoft has just rolled out the latest teaser video of one of today’s most highly-anticipated FPS sequels, Far Cry 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360). While there’s not quite a lot to take in, there’s definitely something to take note of. Check out the video in the full article.

Teasers are meant to tease, titillate and hype an upcoming game. Be it a brief clip of gameplay or of a cutscene, it’s supposed to generate demand and whet the appetites of hungry gamers looking for some delicious gaming to sink their teeth into.

That said, we’re not sure of what to think with the latest teaser video of Far Cry 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) from the folks over at Ubisoft, with the brief 39-second clip showing a sweltering savanna and some wildlife. And not much else. Huh.

If we’re going to nitpick, though, the grass definitely looks real, with each blade swaying from side to side – and the fire that bursts from it looks pretty darn good as well. Here’s hoping that it’s a clip from the in-game engine itself and not a pre-rendered CGI clip (from all the post-processing, it’s hard to tell).
