FASA Interactive founder gets Shadowrun rights back from Microsoft
Shadowrun (Xbox 360, PC) and MechWarrior fans rejoice: Jordan Weisman, the founder of the erstwhile FASA Corporation, has started a new studio called Smith & Tinker. The good news? The studio managed to get the license for Shadowrun, MechWarrior, Crimson Skies, and other former FASA IPs. More details in the full article!
A few months after the less-than-graceful shutdown of Shadowrun (Xbox 360, PC) by FASA Corporation, the company’s founder Jordan Weisman managed to put together a new game studio called Smith & Tinker. Not only that, but Weisman also managed to license the electronic entertainment rights for MechWarrior, Shadowrun, Crimson Skies, and other former FASA titles from Microsoft.
Weisman and Smith & Tinker is not revealing any of their plans yet as of this moment. However, the announcement of getting the licenses back from Microsoft pretty much means that there will be good news soon coming our way, especially for fans of FASA franchises.
More updates to come!
